Hymns Two

Hymns are a genre of song prayer which has been used through the ages as a means of connection with God in the expectation of interaction from Him in response. Hymns are so named because their purpose is to praise God. Praise is that special sort of attention you pay to God when you just want to exult in who God is and what He has done, as well as what you expect Him to still do because God is unchanging.

The hymns albums look to bring you hymns you know and those you may never have heard before, with fresh arrangements for you to use as praise even as you come to rest in God, no matter your circumstances. Like all song prayers, hymns are not just for what seems the best of times, but also for times which are hard. Sometimes, almost too hard to bear. There is evidence that music has been the language with which people have reached to God since before there was language. God longs to be present to His people. That is you. So, you use the hymns to reach for God and He reaches back. He is there.
