How does God see you? How does He see every other? How are you to interact with Him and with others in light of this? Love is not synonymous with being “nice.” Nice is subjective and does not necessarily reflect God’s love.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGod’s way of love is concrete. God’s essence is this whole, perfect love. Love is the source and summit of all He is and does. Of course, God’s love is not completely comprehensible. Yet, He wants to teach you. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTwo commands from Jesus to love God and love others sum up all biblical direction for life and provide the overarching structure and foundation. St. Paul says, without authentic loving, nothing else you do is of value (1 Cor. 13:1-3). St. John says, unless you love you cannot be a follower of God (1 John 2). Thus, though ever challenging, the most important life focus is to let God teach you to love His way, as Holy Spirit flows through you with direction, healing and care.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese first “love” songs are to accompany you on your journey.
